Seems like RLAC works well for those renting, but it ain't so great for folks hosting. We had a situation where a renter bailed just 48 hours before the event. The contact from RLAC was pretty much no help at all. Just to mention, RLAC got in touch with me since we live right next to Avenel golf course in Maryland, where the event was happening. The renter was a golfer, coming with his wife, caddy, and personal chef, so we went all out to make sure he had a fantastic time. We cleaned the house top to bottom and even bought new baking supplies. Instead of giving a credit as per their covid policy, they decided to refund the full amount to the golfer. After I raised my concerns, they 'kindly' gave back $810, which was only about a tenth of what I had put in. Just a heads up, RLAC might be a good deal for renters, but they really drop the ball for hosts.

We were all set to book a hotel room, but then we stumbled upon this place on Rent Like a Champion. The cost was about the same for three bedrooms. We enjoyed three distinct bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms compared to just one hotel room with three beds and a single bath. While the prices were alike, the value we got from the house was way better!

We had a fantastic time at this lovely little home in Fayetteville. It was spotless, in a perfect spot, and the owner treated us to some freshly baked cinnamon rolls. They must be an art lover or maybe even an artist, as there were plenty of fascinating artworks throughout the place. I’d definitely suggest checking this spot out!

I recently booked a place for the ND vs. USC game and it was an awesome stay! The owner provided plenty of towels and beds for us, along with a couple of air mattresses too! They were super accommodating, and all those little touches like water bottles really made the rental feel special. Being so close to campus was a big plus as well.
